rail

A week or so ago my local colleagues Mark Fletcher MP, Mark Spencer and I wrote to East Midlands Railway about the Robin Hood line to reconfirm our commitment to getting this project delivered.

EMR are putting together the detailed business case, which is due for publication in August, whilst the County Council are working on a submission to Governments fund for Reopening Railways.

Connected our rural towns and villages across North Notts in to Mansfield and Nottingham for work, as well as allowing tourists to visit Sherwood Forest by train, can only be of huge benefit to our area!
