Mansfield and Warsop’s Member of Parliament, Ben Bradley, is advising his constituents to contact him if they want to apply for a tour of Parliament.
MP’s are able to ‘sponsor’ a limited number of tours of the Houses of Parliament, subject to security restrictions. This gives residents the chance to explore the palace of Westminster, including the House of Commons chamber where Ben and other MP’s debate laws.
Discussing the tours, MP Ben Bradley said “it’s a really good thing to be able to bring people from Mansfield and Warsop to the House of Commons. It’s such an interesting historical building, and I would definitely recommend a tour to anyone with an interest in history, politics, architecture, or anyone else for that matter!”
Tours only run on weekdays and are booked up several weeks in advance.
